Xfloat participating in the IDB’s “Ideas in Action 2023

We’re excited to announce our participation in the Inter-American Development Bank’s “Ideas in Action 2023” initiative. This remarkable program showcases groundbreaking projects in Latin America and the Caribbean from the water and energy sectors, all focused on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to address pressing global challenges.

In partnership with Embasa Oficial in Brazil, the Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC) of The Bahamas, and the Unidad Municipal de Agua Potable y Saneamiento (UMAPS) in Honduras, XFloat is proud to be at the forefront of implementing smart Floating Photovoltaic (FPV) systems. These cutting-edge systems utilize advanced tracking technology, transforming bodies of water into efficient and sustainable sources of clean energy. Our innovative FPV systems are designed not only to harness the sun’s power but also to enhance water efficiency, making a tangible impact on both energy generation and resource conservation.

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in demonstrating the potential of FPV technology in diverse environments. By supporting groundbreaking projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, we aim to drive the transition to sustainable energy solutions while supporting local communities and contributing to regional energy independence. Our efforts align with the IDB’s mission to foster innovation and promote sustainable development across the region.

We look forward to sharing more about our progress and the impact of this collaboration as the project evolves. Stay tuned for updates on how we’re advancing clean energy initiatives and helping to shape the future of renewable power in Latin America and the Caribbean.
