Xfloat Sets New Industry Standard for Floating Solar Performance

As 2025 draws to a close, we’re proud to share proven production data from Xfloat’s operational sites across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, including equatorial regions.

The results consistently demonstrate that Xfloat’s floating tracking systems (FPV-T) deliver significantly higher energy generation than traditional fixed-tilt FPV systems—and in many cases, outperform PVsyst projections.
Performance Recap 2025

Southeast Asia site: +28.6 % overall yield increase, with consistent monthly advantage.
Middle East site: +21.7 % average energy gain compared to fixed FPV.
Actual measured output exceeded modeled expectations, confirming the reliability and accuracy of the system.
Proven performance across different climates—from arid conditions to equatorial clouds and humidity—demonstrates strong adaptability.
These results validate the robustness of Xfloat’s hydrostatic tracking system, designed to endure environmental stresses while maintaining precise tracking control.

Performance improvement over time

The system’s adaptive algorithm and machine-learning logic, based on continuous data collection, optimize bifacial panel angles throughout the day—maximizing irradiance capture and total yield. We continue refining our control system, and early indications show potential for even higher performance as the system evolves.

Floating PV with intelligent tracking isn’t just viable—it’s outperforming expectations and setting a new benchmark for reliable, resistant to extreme climatic loads, high-yield solar generation on water.
