Floating Solar with Measurable Environmental Impact

Xfloat develops and supplies cutting-edge Floating PV systems featuring Horizontal Single-Axis Tracking (HSAT) technology, delivering 20–25% more energy yield than conventional FPV systems. Now, we’re taking another step forward—demonstrating how our technology positively impacts aquatic environments.

We are launching a comprehensive water quality monitoring program at our floating photovoltaic (FPV) sites. Using advanced sensors, we will continuously measure key indicators of aquatic health, including:

* Dissolved Oxygen (DO)
* Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
* Chemical & Biochemical Oxygen Demand (COD & BOD)
* pH levels
* Water temperature

This data will help us understand and demonstrate how our FPV systems affect water bodies by:
✔ Reducing evaporation and thermal stress
✔ Limiting sediment disturbance and algal growth
✔ Supporting overall aquatic ecosystem resilience

By transparently tracking and sharing these findings, we reinforce Xfloat’s commitment to renewable energy solutions that deliver measurable environmental benefits.

Stay tuned as we publish insights from this ongoing initiative.
